Finally, Time for Spring Shoes

Now I do not want to be too optimistic, but I am putting my cozy boots away. If I have to bust them out again I may cry, but until then I am going to relish putting pretty shoes again. 

There are so many fun, girly shoe trends this season. 

Lots of bows and knots and plenty of different hues of pink to make us smile. There is something about Spring that really brings out the most femme pieces which is delightful. 

So far I am wearing these and these the most, but here are some other fun pairs that would be perfect through Spring and into Summer. 

Note: Almost every single one of these shoes comes in multiple colors. 

1. These lace up wedge espadrilles are so pretty / 2. A slim slide with just sweet enough bows / 3. I worship this pink mule / 4. The perfect dressier flip flop / 5. Current Trend: Velvet

Velvet was once what holiday dress nightmares were made of when we were children of the 80s. Then two piece candy colored hoodie sweatsuits we sported with pride absolutely everywhere. 

(yes, that happened for the younger readers. Hi!) 

But now it is chic and and applied in so many beautiful ways. The soft fabric drapes like a dream, has a weight that makes it feel grown up and dressy, but the kicker is that it feels like pajamas. 

Luxy, very special pajamas. 

From dressed up to down, velvet is feeling extra fresh this season. 

1. A swingy, easy dress (this one is cute too) / 2. Worship this Gucci bag (this one is less) / 3. The cutest sweatshirt (or this one in black) / 4. Skinny jeans on sale / 5. Ladylike leopard mules / 6. A comfy and cute block heel pump / 7. 90s vibe slip dress, pair with a tee underneath to dress down / 8. A dramatic top  / 9. High waist pants that also come in black  / 10. Studded mule greatness / 11. Obsessed with these cropped wide leg pants / 12. Perfect dress for that winter wedding or gala / 13. A flirty party skirt / 14.  Heart eyes for bow Valentinos (these and these are less) / 15. The combo of velvet and faux fur is so great in this vest / 16. Own these in pink and love them / 17. A chic black bomber (or love this too)

Olive is the New Black

Olive green usually has a moment as Fall starts to roll around, but never like this season. It is everywhere and being mixed in to wardrobes as a neutral. More interesting than beige and a lovely hue that does wonders for skin tones of every shade, olive is your new best friend. Mix it with black and denim, or go crazy with pink and bright blues. Seriously, it goes with everything. I rounded up a a ton of great pieces that will get you excited for Fall and 

1. A winter coat that will last a lifetime. This one is a more affordable option. 

2. I just ordered this cute pom sweater from J. Crew on super sale. 

3. These jeans are the best color and coated to make them extra flattering. 

4. This off the shoulder Theory dress is so good and on sale. 

5. A t-shirt dress over leggings is my Fall go to. 

6. Classic Hunter boots in the original hue. 

7. This Saint Laurent bag is an investment, but would hold absolutely everything for years to come. 

8. A sweatshirt that is long in the back, always a staple. 

This one is a great lower priced option. 

1. A utility jacket that looks just as cute to the gym as it does for drinks. 

2. These Vince sneaks are the best. These are very similar. 

3. Love this update to a bomber. Nice and long. 

4. Aaannnd I want to live in this sweatshirt dress all Fall long. 

5. Pants that feel like sweats are a win. These are on sale too. 

6. Ruffles, off the shoulder, AND olive. Oh and on sale from J. Crew

7. These booties would be easy to throw on every day. These are cute too. 

1. A drape front jacket works every time, and a great price. 

2. This soft jacket could be an every day wear. 

3. Love a suede moment and this swing dress is so cute even if it is faux. 

4. Love the femme softness of this blouse. 

5. These leggings would be a nice switch up from the usual black. 

6. This shirt dress by BB Dakota would be great with tights and boots. (this one is cute too)

7. This tailored JOA skirt is so chic and great for work or a night out. 

8. A darker olive with a flattering cut, love these jeans.

Let's Go West For A Cause

Everyone loves going cowgirl once in awhile. Especially for a good cause. Next month is the Barn Dance benefitting Advocate Good Shepard Hospital hosted by the Shepard's Circle. LOVE this suede dress. Paired with a long turquoise necklace and shiny western inspired boots. 

A super soft plaid shirt dress, paired with an oversized denim jacket and the cutest monogram boots. 

For a slightly edgier look, this chambray tunic and distressed denim would look killer with these fringed sandals and braided clutch. 

Love these Rails shirts year round and paired with classic 501 cut offs, a bib necklace, and these fun (cozy looking too) fringed moccasins rounds out such a cute look for the event.
