8 Cute Swimsuit + Cover Up Looks

Though the world is just not itself right now, it appears as if most are making the best of it. From backyard baby pool parties with the littles to lake house getaways with grandparents to cross country road trips to see the sights, I am loving the optimism in an absolutely insanely crappy situation. So your pool dips may be only with your kids and your neighbors pool is the only one you are having beers at, there is still lots of reasons for a cute one piece and a cover up to sport. I have been hunting for good one pieces for months and landed on a few I like a lot, plus all these covers up make them an actual outfit you could stroll the neighbor hood in. Weekend Wish: Anthropologie Swim Style

Even though I feel like I am far away from feeling fine in a swimsuit, I could not help but start my search for cute suits when I checked out Anthropologie's newest offerings. Honestly, their selection is amazing and colors, patterns, and cuts are flirty and chic.

I love all of the bikinis. The use of different prints is so fun for summer. How sweet is the Primrose print with the ruffle? But I think I am leaning towards the newsprint or the print share. 

And dare I say that I think I am in the market for a one piece? Not that I think I am too old for a bikini, but with styles like these, I think you would be the envy of the pool deck...

Kind of obsessed with all of them. It makes getting ready for the beach a lot easier, just throw on a cute pair of shorts or skirt. You are even ready for cocktails after. The neon reminds me of a leotard from the nineties (early), and I like it.

Weekend Wish

It is time to lay in the sun and soak up some Vitamin D. And although I will be coated in SPF 60, my wish is that I still get a slight bronze.

How I miss the days of slathering on the oil and baking to a medium brown.

Getting older takes the fun out of it a bit, but with these summer essentials I can still enjoy my time in the sun.

There is something about summer that brings out my girlie side. Wearing a super femme bikini, hot pink cut offs, and sipping a cold can of sparkling blanc de blanc out of a fuchsia can sounds glorious. The bubbles will be even greater as I giggle through funny girl, Tina Fey's, new book Bossypants.
