No matter the season, there is always skin woes, but winter seems to bring the worst.
Dryness, redness, dullness.
I'll take a little too much sun and shiny skin any day.
I have not been switching my daily face moisturizer, which I know a lot of people do. I just use a lot more and try to give myself a little mini facial massage after the shower and really lather a ton on allowing it to sink in. It is a favorite drugstore brand that my dermatologist got me on.
other than that these little babes keep me happy.
Well, along with my new go-to drink and cozy socks.
Clockwise from top left:
Weleda Skin Food: This is an all natural lotion/balm that is a miracle worker on hands, feet, cuticles, anything that is super dry. It has a fresh scent too.
Dior Nail Gloss: This is like lip gloss for your nails. It makes the pink pinker and the whites whiter. It dries very quick and makes tired dry hands look like they were just manicured in an instant.
Avene Cold Creme Lip Treatment: If you sleep with this on, you wake up with the softest lips. It is honestly life changing.
Baby Foot: I have talked about this before, but it needs to be emphasized. You will not need a pedicure all winter long, promise. This is a treatment you do for one hour, wash off, then a week later all the dead skin on your feet peels off. You have to wear socks for a few days, but there is NOTHING like it.
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer: One of my biggest pet peeves in life is coming out of a super hot shower to put on cold lotion. You use this moisturizer after washing, but before drying your body. Plus, it has coconut oil and makes you feel like you are on vacation. They also make it with self tanner.
Bare Minerals BareSkin Serum Foundation with SPF 20: Paleness is at an all time high this time of year, so I like to buy this one shade darker in winter. You only need three drops of this and I like to mix it into my beloved moisturizer and POOF! I have a perfectly blendable, covers my imperfections, while being totally natural looking, sunscreen included, tinted moisturizer.
You have anything that is saving your skin right now?

ReplyDeleteThe next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention. ssl
