What I Wore Last Week

How was your weekend? We were snowed in, so there was a lot of lounging and snuggling. And although you would think that the snow would have kept us in, there was also a lot of fun had with friends and even a concert seeing one of our favorites

While I did of course wear more than three outfits last week, these were the only ones worth sharing. I do repeat a lot and decided you did not need to see my heavy rotation of leggings and activewear again. But I did love these three looks. Easy, comfy, and just dressed up enough for what I was doing.

From Left:
I cannot tell you how many times I have worn this chambray shirt and jogger look. They are both crazy soft and feel like pajamas. I also rely on these bow slip ons a lot. Pink is sold out, but white is on sale. She just came out with a mule pair as well.

I snagged this cashmere t-shirt sweater from my last post and I want three more. So easy to pair with my favorite jeans (worn them so much those rips happened, time for a new pair), a little cross body Valentino, and velvet slippers (similar).

This sweet sweater was on sale (sold out, but this is similar and so great. I want it in green) and I bought it a size bigger to get a slouchy look. These Rag & Bone booties (now 50% off and more colors on sale) and Hudson skinnies (also on sale) are also on constant repeat this winter. Those jeans pull you in like nothing else I own. I am loving this little bucket in burgundy (comes in 12 colors) and the lip I am wearing is a great layering lip color by Glossier in Crush

Cheers to another week!

What I Wore Last Week

One thing that I have tried not to do on this blog or Instagram is pretend. There are so many bloggers out there that do the best job of putting looks together and posting the most perfect pictures (no judgement I love them too!). And some are doing that for real, but many are staging photo shoots with racks of clothes from advertisers a couple times a month and pushing the shots as if they are wearing things real time. I prefer to do things as they happen and be as authentic as possible for you all. Selfies feel pretty ridiculous, but it is what I get comments on to do more of all the time. So I thought I would try and post weekly outfits here. Maybe not every outfit every week (hello raggy pjs), but pieces that I love and you might too.

From Top Left:
Monday included pilates and errands. That means the coziest Zara jacket EVER that is sadly sold out. This is similar and this. My go to leggings, this cute Gap sweatshirt (on sale), and my beloved wedge boots lined with shearling.

I had a meeting Tuesday night, which gave me an excuse to wear my favorite silk button down (similar) with these velvet jeans (on sale, true to size). I LOVE this color combo and the booties (on sale) kept it comfortable.

Wednesday I had pilates and had to meet a photographer for a property. So I wore my work out clothes under this striped sweater (on sale), my Uggs, and the classic Chateau Parka (on sale) from J. Crew.

Bottom Left:
Thursday I had a tennis match and wore this cute tennis dress (on super sale!) from J. Crew with these Gap compression leggings underneath. I absolutely love these kicks from Zara too.

Friday I had pilates in the morning and then met a friend for a movie date. I hid my workout clothes under this super soft sweater (this is similar and this) and wore these easy slip ons in pink velvet (on sale $29!). And yes, I have the same hair as the day before because I am living my best life.

Saturday evening we had dinner with friends so I wore this sweet ruffled sweater (50% off!) and the most comfy skinny jeans. (on sale) I paired them with my Zara velvet flats (similar) and the classic Claire V. leopard clutch.

This was fun to make myself look a bit more presentable even if it was an errands and work out kind of day. As you can see I like to hide the work out clothes and move on with my day. I also am usually in pretty casual clothes with the occasional one or two dressier nights. If there are any outfits that you need help with most, let me know and I will try to include more.
